OpenText, a vendor in content management applications now is providing its Enterprise Information Management (EIM) applications in the cloud and has moved aggressively into B2B transaction enablement with a series of acquisitions that target everything from electronic messaging to online commerce. Earlier this year, Open Text announced the GROW with OpenText program. Modern Work is evolving, and Modern Work is key to the corporate agenda of GROW with OpenText. At the forefront of the GROW with OpenText program is a digital engagement platform that is cloud-based, the OpenText Digital Zone.

Available today, the Digital Zone allows Open Text to connect with customers and prospects for events, seminars, presales, design, proof-of-concept, support and renewals and will ultimately automate the vast majority of customer engagement and allow Open Text to help scale revenues nonlinear to expense. Over the next 5 years, OpenText plans to invest over $2 billion into innovation.

After years of securing a leadership position in helping clients manage rich content and unstructured data, OpenText is adding cloud and hybrid cloud options to their applications and positioning itself for greater growth beyond enterprise information management. Because its software is already being used to manage tremendous amounts of information that zips into and out of the enterprise, OpenText aims to tackle bigger challenges on behalf of its clients with a more holistic approach to dealing with content, information governance as well as seamless integration of mission-critical information into different corporate functions needed to render billions or even trillions of transactions with eCommerce partners and customers successfully.
