In November 2021, Pipedrive Launches Integrations for Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft, and More. This is part of an initiative, initially of fifteen integrations, to expand the marketplace with new native integrations and apps. Pipedrive is on a mission to turn CRM into the one central hub that connects all the tools that SMBs need to cover the whole revenue cycle.
In November 2020, Pipedrive, a CRM platform for sales and marketing teams, has signed an agreement to receive a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners, an Austin, Texas-based VC firm which puts the company’s valuation at about $1.5 billion. With this, the Estonian-born startup reaches unicorn status. Pipedrive’s existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Insight Partners, Atomico, DTCP, and Rembrandt Venture Partners, will continue as minority investors in the company and will partner with Vista and the Pipedrive team to accelerate the company’s growth trajectory.
In July 2019, Pipedrive has added a powerful AI sales assistant that continuously gathers data on deals and sales activities and prompts salespeople to take the “next best” action to move the hottest deals forward; a more flexible user interface that enables salespeople to customize their view of deals in the pipeline to more closely mirror their sales process; and more robust performance dashboards and reporting that let sales managers coordinate the activities of sales teams to close more deals and grow revenue faster. Pipedrive also announced today a new plan designed to meet the needs of the company’s larger enterprise customers. In addition, existing plans have been revamped to help individual salespeople and organizations of all sizes reach their sales goals and grow their businesses. To further support sales success, the company also launched Pipedrive Academy, a web-based online learning portal that provides recorded video courses that help sales professionals improve their selling skills and processes.
In June 2019, Pipedrive has launched LeadBooster, a conversational bot that instantly engages web visitors, qualifies prospects to identify hot leads, and helps book meetings so salespeople can close deals faster. The first offering in a suite of lead management tools, LeadBooster is an add-on to Pipedrive. In the first 60 days, more than 11,000 existing Pipedrive customers have tested LeadBooster in private beta. Today, LeadBooster is available to all existing and new Pipedrive customers at no charge in a public beta.
In October 2018, Pipedrive closed an additional $10 million Series C investment from new investor DTCP (Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners). DTCP will further strengthen Pipedrive’s capability to expand within valuable markets such as Germany. The investment brings Pipedrive’s now completed Series C round to a total $60 million, including funding from new investor Insight Venture Partners, and existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Atomico, and Rembrandt Venture Partners. This round brings Pipedrive's total venture capital funding to date to $90 million.
In June 2018, Pipedrive launched a new Pipedrive for Financial Services solution equipped to greatly optimize financial sales activities.
