Synchronoss offers a range of applications for communications service providers helping them automate functions including subscriber activation, order management, upgrades, service provisioning and connectivity and content management from any sales channel to any communication service (wireless or wireline).

 

In December of 2013 Synchronoss announced they had reached ten million subscribers for the personal cloud. Verizon was the first company to deploy the personal cloud platform. Telefonica, Vodafone, and AT&T are now in the early launching stages.

 

In February 2015, Synchronoss acquired Cloud security vendor F-Secure Corp. for $60 million. With this purchase, Synchronoss will now service over 75 Mobile Operators, including nine Tier One Global Providers. These Mobile Operators will offer Synchronoss direct access to over 3.5 Billion subscribers around the world for its personal cloud platform. The Synchronoss Personal Cloud solution targets individual consumers while its Synchronoss WorkSpace solution focuses on providing a secure, integrated file sharing and collaboration solution for small and medium businesses.

 

In February 2016, Synchronoss announced a new partnership with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, (PwC), the multinational professional services firm. The partnership will identify new commercial opportunities for Synchronoss as it expands its business into value-added mobility services and solutions for the enterprise sector with the creation of the Synchronoss Enterprise Business Unit (EBU). The Synchronoss EBU will deliver secure mobility solutions that address identity, access management and security, with a focus on three target industries – financial services, life sciences and healthcare. Initially, the EBU will offer Synchronoss’ new Secure Mobility Suite, which integrates the company’s core mobile content management solution, Synchronoss WorkSpace, along with new personal information management and mobile data protection capabilities brought to the company through its venture with Goldman Sachs.
