Vistex Recent Developments

In June 2021, Vistex declared that its new solution extensions are commercially available to businesses using SAP technology as part of SAP’s industry cloud portfolio, a direct result of a strategic expansion of Vistex’s partnership with SAP. Through a global reseller agreement with SAP, these Vistex cloud solutions are branded, licensed, supported, and resold by SAP as SAP Solution Extensions that are now deployed on SAP Business Technology Platform.

In April 2019, Vistex launched a cross-divisional solution for managing media, brand licensing, music, and all aspects of intellectual property rights and royalties. The reservoir was the first company to go live on the Vistex OS2.0 online platform in 2019.

"In July 2018, Vistex expanded its presence in Indonesia by signing the first Indonesian client Massive Music, to adopt Music Maestro. From June 2016 until June 2017, Vortex signed 30 new clients that have selected Vistex's Counterpoint Suite to manage the administration of their businesses.

Vistex Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions

In July 2020, The Mechanical Licensing Collective (The MLC) partnered with Vistex to help them successfully enhance Vistex Inc.’s Music Maestro software package to enable Music Maestro users to participate in The MLC’s Data Quality Initiative (DQI).

In May 2017, Vistex Solutions for SAP software applications became available on SAP S/4HANA. As one of SAP's longstanding partners, Vistex has maintained a close collaborative relationship with SAP, one that now extends to SAP S/4HANA. Vistex will synchronize its releases with SAP S/4HANA to help ensure maximum compatibility and minimum disruption for its customers. The next Vistex release, version 1709, is expected in early 2018 with continuous improvements to take advantage of the unique capabilities of the underlying SAP HANA platform. Vistex now leverages SAP S/4HANA for its own financials and global operations.

In 2019, Vistex received an equity investment of an initial $65 million, and up to an additional $40 million, for future strategic acquisitions from Accel-KKR (AKKR), a leading technology-focused private equity firm."
