The investment achieves a greater than US$500 million valuation for the Calgary-based software company. In August 2020, Absorb Software acquired Koantic, a cloud-based course authoring tool. Absorb plans to integrate the course builder with its LMS while continuing to offer it as a stand-alone product—which will be renamed Absorb Create.
In August 2019, Absorb acquired eLogic Learning, an LMS based in Tampa, Florida. eLogic Learning has succeeded by delivering fast, reliable course performance internationally.
