Founded in 2007, Acumatica is a provider of cloud business management software applications such as Financials, Distribution, CRM and Project Accounting, powered by a robust and flexible platform that empowers small and mid-size businesses.
Acumatica partnered with Azuqua, a cloud connectivity platform. The companies demonstrated Azuqua’s recently launched cloud integration service featuring connectivity between popular web services (including Salesforce, Office 365 and Hubspot) to Acumatica’s business planning system.

Acumatica Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
Acumatica acquired M5 Software IP and its customer base. The acquisition helps speed to market an Acumatica Field Services Edition in 2016.
Over the past few years, Acumatica has been laying the ground work through a series of partnership agreements.
Acumatica and MYOB, an ERP vendor in Australia, announced a deal that enabled the latter to localize and distribute Acumatica’s Cloud-based ERP applications to Asia. The deal is similar to that of Visma, which resells Acumatica under its own name in the Scandinavian region.
In November 2018 – Acumatica and Gower, a diversified holding company with investments in manufacturing and distribution companies such as MP Husky, Engineered Products, and software companies Ordertrak and Jobscope, stepped into a wide-ranging partnership.
This partnership involves Gower’s Ordertrak division expanding its presence in manufacturing ERP software and the cloud ERP market.
Ordertrak is joining the Acumatica partner program and the Acumatica Developer Network (ADN), becoming an Acumatica reseller and ISV and delivering the Acumatica-Ordertrak solution. As proof of the joint commitment, the partnership has already produced its first customers Current Tool, Jackson Tool, and US Tool.
Acumatica Risks and Challenges
Acumatica relies heavily on its OEM and reseller partners. Losing any of these channel customers could be disruptive.
Acumatica Ecosystem, Partners, Resellers and SI
In July 2020, Unilog joined the Acumatica Marketplace as an ISV partner. The Marketplace offers Acumatica customers and reselling partners access to complementary applications which extend and enhance the world’s fastest-growing cloud ERP.
The growing partner ecosystem is a special ingredient of value for Acumatica customers – and growth for the Acumatica platform. Acumatica added 24 new Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to the ecosystem, an increase attributed to the open and flexible architecture of the platform as well as a growing customer base.
An additional 60 Value Added Reseller (VAR) partners joined the Acumatica community, ready to help customers worldwide meet the demand for Acumatica services.
Acumatica products are delivered through a global channel partner network of more than 270 VARs, ISVs, and OEMs. In the Nordic countries and the Netherlands, Acumatica is sold as part of Visma. In the APAC region, Acumatica is sold as part of MYOB.
Acumatica’s verticals by customer count include services (24 percent), manufacturing (16 percent), Wholesale Distribution (15 percent), Retail & Commerce (11 percent). It’s no coincidence that Acumatica’s strongest ISVs cover the manufacturing (JAAS Systems) and retail (Fusion RMS).
Acumatica recently welcomed a variety of partners into its ranks — DSA, Central Data Systems, NSA Computer Exchange, Catapult, Martin and Associates, Oates&Company, Systems Advisory Services (SAS), and others. Acumatica also unveiled the addition of four new technology partners — MITS, NETSTOCK, Docassist, AvidXchange, and Shopping Cart Elite.
