More than 11,000 staffing companies rely on Bullhorn's cloud-based platform to drive sales, build relationships, and power their recruitment processes from end to end. After making its name in the staffing and recruiting market, Bullhorn has parlayed that success into the broader Customer Relationship Management applications market by focusing on areas such as customer insights analytics (Bullhorn Pulse) and sales force automation.

Bullhorn Recent Developments

In October 2019, Bullhorn acquired Erecruit. The acquisition of Erecruit is a strategic investment in Bullhorn’s vision to help staffing companies realize the promise of digital transformation in their businesses. Specifically, Bullhorn is excited about three strengths that the Erecruit team will provide. The first is intellectual property, which includes deep pay and bill, onboarding, and mobile candidate experience capabilities. The second is strong internal talent, comprising employees who have in-depth knowledge of the staffing industry, pay and bill processes, and large-scale pay and bill deployments. And the third is the Erecruit team’s long-standing relationships with some of the leading staffing firms in the industry and experience in addressing their diverse needs.

Bullhorn Risks and Challenges

The staffing and recruiting industry has increasingly embraced digital transformation, reexamining how their businesses should operate to drive deeper candidate and client relationships to improve margins, and compete effectively as the talent acquisition landscape fundamentally changes. However, due to the Corona Virus impact, the staffing industry will be the one that will be the most impacted, budget cuts are expected.

Bullhorn Ecosystem, Partners, Resellers and SI

In October 2021, PIXID Group, the largest European-owned recruitment technology provider partnered with Bullhorn. The combined expertise and increased service offering from the partnership reinforce the position of both companies in key global recruitment markets.

Bullhorn has enhanced the breadth and depth of its partner ecosystem through tighter integrations with several key partners and through the expansion of the Marketplace and Developer Partner programs. This growth and investment are helping deliver an incredible experience to customers on the Bullhorn platform. Many Bullhorn partners, including CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and Monster, have worked with Bullhorn to enhance their integrations. CareerBuilder has fully integrated its CareerBuilder Employment Screening tool into the Bullhorn ATS; Bullhorn plans to integrate with LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC). This will allow recruiters to get a more up-to-date and full view of a candidate from their LinkedIn profile, and access InMails and LinkedIn Recruiter notes within Bullhorn; Monster has increased the scope of integrated and mobile solutions available to Bullhorn clients, developing a more intuitive candidate application experience and leveraging its semantic knowledge base to proactively match those candidates to job openings within Bullhorn.

Furthermore, the most extensive recruitment-centric ecosystem in the industry, the Bullhorn Marketplace Bullhorn's partner program – has significantly advanced over the past year. Technology partners can seamlessly integrate with both Bullhorn and Bullhorn for Salesforce via robust application programming interfaces (APIs). As a result, Bullhorns software-as-a-service-based partner ecosystem provides staffing and recruiting firms with the tools they need to increase their efficiencies, streamline their operations, and maximize their productivity.
