Deputy Strengths, Domain Expertise, and Key Differentiators
Deputy is the ultimate, all-in-one workforce management solution that simplifies employee scheduling, timesheets, tasking, and communication. Their intuitive apps make it simple to create schedules in minutes, effortlessly track employee hours, and export to payroll. It's all in one place and completely mobile. With Deputy, managers always know when everyone can work, who is on shift, and who is late, and can approve timesheets with a click of a button.
Deputy Recent Developments
In October 2021, Deputy has launched a shift worker engagement feature. A tool that allows managers to understand the emotional well-being of their team members, at the same time allowing them to get ahead of their expressive response.
In May 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Deputy launched “Clock-In Questions”, arming businesses with safety and hygiene-focused tools for the return to work. Deputy’s Clock-In Questions provide an employer-generated checklist that appears as a series of questions employees are prompted to complete before and after their shifts, so if they fail their health and safety check, management is notified immediately, and the employee is no longer allowed to clock in. Deputy also made some product updates that are focused on amplifying diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workforce.
