In June 2020, HireRight partnered with Appriss Insights, a leader in wholesale data solutions, to help employers reduce workforce risk and provide them with innovative post-hire arrest monitoring technology. The partnership between HireRight and Appriss is built on a shared commitment to mitigate person-based risk by providing employers accurate and timely arrest information to keep their employees and workplaces safe. Appriss partners with Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA) partners like HireRight to offer solutions that strengthen pre-hire screening and post-hire monitoring capabilities.
In May 2020, HireRight introduced the integration of Form I-9 and E-Verify Services with leading talent acquisition solutions provider, iCIMS. HireRight is the only iCIMS partner to offer both I-9 and background screening integrations. Through HireRight’s iCIMS Prime integration, customers can easily order HireRight background screening services and through its I-9 E-Verify integration, customers can verify employment eligibility. Using both integrations, recruiters can conduct background screens on candidates, then verify their eligibility for employment all within their iCIMS environment creating a streamlined solution that facilitates compliance and reduces time-to-hire.
In March 2020, HireRight partnered with Fama Technologies, Inc. (Fama), an automated social media background screening platform. Fama analyzes a candidate or current employee’s digital footprint through their publicly available online data, with the goal of identifying any potential risks posed to the organization, which could include bigotry, sexism, and harassment. Through this partnership, HireRight will help customers build and maintain a positive corporate culture while protecting against potential brand and bottom-line damage and maintaining high compliance standards when hiring.
HireRight Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In July 2018, HireRight and General Information Services (GIS) merged under common ownership, creating the industry's preeminent background screening company with offices in Latin America, Europe, Asia, Middle East, and North America. HireRight Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In Octomber 2019, HireRight started the integration into cloud-based talent management system PageUp, creating a more streamlined background screening process for both the recruiter and the candidate. The integration furthers HireRight’s commitment to creating a better candidate experience and helps recruiters move candidates through the hiring process faster. Through features such as data pre-population, which eliminates the need for duplicate entries, and a change tracker, which alerts recruiters to discrepancies in candidate-provided information, the integration significantly reduces the likelihood of data entry errors or out-of-date information in the process. Regular status updates keep the candidate informed throughout the background screening process.
In May 2018, HireRight Solution completed Integration with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Solutions. Another integration happened in November 2018 when HireRight announced a partnership with Beeline, the new integration will allow clients to manage background checks directly through Beeline's IQN VMS.
HireRight Risks and Challenges
In June 2020, HireRight appointed Maria Moore to Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. Ms. Moore joins HireRight with nearly 30 years of marketing experience across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on key technology sectors, including software and cloud solutions. At the same period, HireRight appointed Jeremy Wasser to Senior Vice President and Global Head of Product Management. Mr. Wasser joins HireRight after eight years at Experian, most recently serving as Chief Product Architect and Head of Product Strategy, Innovation, and New Product Development for the company’s Consumer Services business unit. In February, HireRight appointed Dennis Thomas as Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Thomas joins HireRight from EXLService, where he served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Healthcare Operations.
