In April 2018, Snagajob rebranded with a new visual identity and name, Snag, to reflect the company’s evolution. Since its launch in 2000, Snagajob has grown beyond jobs. Snag Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In September 2018, Snag partnered with Checkers & Rally’s Restaurants, Inc. (Checkers & Rally’s) which operates and franchises more than 880 Checkers and Rally’s restaurants in 30 states across the United States. Checkers & Rally’s will use Snag to post available positions at 255 of their locations.
In July 2018, Snag begun offering its recruiting services to employers in Canada for the first time, marking the company’s expansion into an international market. Businesses located in Canada can now use Snag’s platform to create and post job openings and to manage the hiring process from start to finish. The first customer in Canada is HMSHost, a global restaurateur, and leader in dining options for airports and motorways, with more than 4,000 stores worldwide.
Snag Risks and Challenges
In 2019, Snag revealed new changes to its executive leadership team. Mathieu Stevenson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Stevenson succeeds Fabio Rosati who will return to his role as Executive Chairman of the Board. Stevenson will lead the company forward, with Rosati’s active involvement, to realize Snag’s mission of revolutionizing how hourly workers and employers connect.
In August 2018, Snag published that John Frederick has been named the company’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company’s technology, data, legal, finance, and human resources teams. Frederick joined the company in January 2018 as Chief Administrative Officer.

In September 2018, Snag, partnered with Five Below, a specialty value retailer with locations in 33 states offering a broad assortment of teen and pre-teen products priced at $5 and below.
