SS&C Technologies Recent Developments
In September 2018 SS&C Technologies Holdings released during SS&C Deliver, a new Rebalancer solution fully integrated with the latest version of the Black Diamond® Wealth Platform, known as BD3.
The Rebalancer is the newest Black Diamond enhancement to help differentiate high-net-worth client advisors in a very competitive market. Rebalancing software is one of the most important pieces of technology as it impacts multiple facets, including investment strategies, risk tolerance, taxes and more.
The Black Diamond product team incorporated feedback throughout the development process. Long-time client, AdvicePeriod was a key beta user influencing the process and testing the new product. The new Black Diamond Rebalancer provides functionality including proactive notifications on the drift, portfolio cash needs, and tax loss harvesting opportunities. The Rebalancer also features N-tier modeling, which allows advisors to efficiently manage models and use them as building blocks when creating client investment strategies.
In the same period, SS&C Technologies Holdings launched Salentica Data Broker, an independent solution for secure data integration. Advisors can now use Salentica Data Broker with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, two of the largest CRM platforms on the market. Salentica Data Broker is a state-of-the-art integration solution that enables secure data sharing with other applications used by wealth advisors, asset managers, and their clients.
The solution integrates with Schwab OpenView Gateway, TD Ameritrade Institutional’s Veo, Fidelity WealthscapeSM, Black Diamond Wealth Platform, Advent APX, and Axys, MoneyGuidePro, and Modestspark. Salentica Data Broker bridges the gap between siloed or disconnected data, supplying firms with a 360-degree view of clients. The solution standardizes the volume and frequency of data integrations, creating cost and time savings for clients.
The architecture of Salentica Data Broker allows advisors to plug the solution into their existing Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics platform, eliminating costly data migrations and user training costs associated with moving to a new deployment.
