In December, 2020, WorkJam Releases Powerful Data Management and Repository Module to Drive Frontline Workforce Orchestration
In 2020, as the coronavirus pandemic pushed more grocery shoppers online, stores were struggling to keep up with the operations challenges brought on by increased customer demand, WorkJam and Digital Goodie, the ecommerce and fulfillment technology platform entered into a strategic partnership to streamline online grocery operations. Aditoinally, WorkJam launched next-generation health check analysis tool, enabling employers to reduce the spread of COVID-19 among frontline employees and their customers while complying with local laws and regulations. With WorkJam’s health check analysis tool, employers prompt associates and leaders of frontline teams to complete a recurring mandatory health check survey on their mobile devices, which must be completed in order to clock in to a shift.
In July 2019 WorkJam unveiled its new fully-integrated messaging system. The upgrades allow employers to provide more robust, secure, direct communication between managers and associates. The new functional further streamlines communication is creating a unified employee experience across an ever-growing number of channels, devices, and touchpoints to improve workplace efficiency and satisfaction.

WorkJam Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In August 2021, WorkJam has completed a round of growth financing which will supercharge its software business. The company offers organisations tools to support their frontline workers, making them more efficient. Its $35m cash injection has come from Silver Lake Waterman. CEO Steven Kramer says its software represents "a critical investment priority for employers". The Canadian firm aims to expand globally.
In April 2020, WorkJam received $50 million Series C round led by top Canadian venture capital firm Inovia Capital, with participation from Fonds de Solidarité FTQ and Claridge Inc. All existing investors also participated in the round including Lerer Hippeau, Blumberg Capital, Harmony Partners and WorkJam’s management team. The funding will allow WorkJam to continue to innovate, expand geographically, seek acquisitions, and invest in its employees.
