OneStream Software Recent Developments
In May of 2022, OneStream launched its Sensible Machine Learning solution. Sensible ML unleashes the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) across the enterprise planning process directly within the OneStream platform without the need for dedicated data scientists or additional software. By unifying thousands of ML forecasts with CPM, OneStream customers can accelerate time to value for critical planning processes. Sensible ML helps increase user confidence in ML-based forecasts and allows customers to do so at a lower cost of ownership compared to alternative solutions. In August 2022, OneStream announced the opening of its new global headquarters in Birmingham, MI.
In March 2021 OneStream launched a new MarketPlace solution that helps organizations provide control and governance over application change requests. The new Application Control Manager solution provides an easy way for end-users to request changes to OneStream applications and provides multi-level approval workflow around change requests. In April 2020 OneStream Software launched a new transaction matching solution that can speed account reconciliations and shorten the financial close process. OneStream Transaction Matching allows companies to collect and match large volumes of transactions from multiple sources to quickly identify and resolve differences to accurately finalize period-end balances much sooner than with third-party tools or spreadsheets.
This solution complements OneStream’s Account Reconciliations solution, both of which are available on the OneStream XF MarketPlace of productivity and business solutions at no additional license cost for existing OneStream customers. Both are fully supported solutions that can be deployed on-premise, or in the cloud, so end users can manage these processes either from the office or remotely. OneStream Transaction Matching allows companies to match transactional-level information from multiple sources utilizing an easily configurable, rules-driven approach that identifies and resolves differences in transaction data. This replaces spreadsheets and manual processes that prolong period-end account reconciliations and can delay the financial close. Failure to accurately match transactions and reconcile accounts can result in reporting issues or even undue write-offs that can negatively impact a company’s income statement and balance sheet.
In January 2020, OneStream Software has introduced a new predictive analytics solution that provides advanced planning and forecasting capabilities for the OneStream XF platform. Predictive Analytics 123 enables finance leaders to create predictive forecasts for financial and operational planning, share these insights, and collaborate with their business partners on critical business decisions.
Predictive Analytics 123 extends OneStream’s planning and forecasting capabilities and builds on the governed analytics capabilities that were released last quarter. Governed analytics allows finance executives to blend detailed operational and transactional data with trusted financial data managed within the OneStream XF platform. Predictive Analytics 123 adds predictive modeling with the ability to quickly seed new forecasts and create visualizations with easy, self-service capabilities. This enables finance teams to validate corporate and operational plans, reduce forecast bias, and help drive important dialogue to support quick and effective decision making.
In February 2019, OneStream received a significant investment from KKR, funded through a combination of KKR's private equity and growth equity funds. The capital infusion is OneStream’s first from an external investor, after achieving nearly 500% growth over the last three years while maintaining strong profitability. The investment brings the company’s valuation to over $1.0 billion.
In March 2019, OneStream launched the latest version of its SmartCPM platform, OneStream XF 5.0. This fifth-generation CPM solution employs environmental sensors and intelligent bots that deliver significant scalability and performance improvements through smart load balancing of key processes and tasks across servers in both on-premise and cloud deployments. Other key features include enhanced analytical capabilities to enable better decision making and local language capabilities for users in global deployments."
