Visier Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions

In June 2021, Visier raised $125M in Series E funding led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management (Goldman Sachs) at a valuation exceeding $1B USD. This investment signals a historic moment in the growth of the people analytics market, with Visier becoming the first independent vendor in the space to reach a $1 billion valuation.

With a management team led by John Schwarz, formerly with SAP and BusinessObjects, Visier is creating a new category of HR tech, focused purely on people analytics and planning. In April 2018 Visier reported that over the past five years, Visier has achieved a compound annual growth rate of 120 percent, and has surpassed $125 million in subscription sales.

Visier Ecosystem, Partners, Resellers and SI

In September 2021, Workforce upskilling platform Degreed partnered with Visier, to deliver business-relevant insights around workforce skills and future skill needs. Visier’s analytics engine will be embedded in a new, optional offering inside Degreed’s learning experience platform and is planned for general availability in Q4 of this year. Degreed and Visier are collaborating to provide a simple and intuitive solution inside the user-friendly Degreed experience that helps L&D teams and their stakeholders understand and visualize the skills and capabilities inside organizations so they can make data-backed decisions about their upskilling initiatives.

In 2019, Visier joined Ceridian’s Dayforce Software Partner Program (DSPP). The new partnership gives Visier the ability to integrate with Dayforce, Ceridian’s modern cloud HCM software platform, making it easier for mutual customers to exchange data seamlessly.

Visier sells direct mostly, but also has Referral partnerships, through firms like AON, Tata, Mercer and more - OEM, directly embedding Visier's analytics dashboard into Insperity, Paycor, etc. This is the most significant change, as it opens up customers using Visier's technology from hundreds to thousands.
