Wipro has migrated the Oracle databases supporting its payroll and recruitment systems to Oracle Base Database Service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The move improved recruitment system performance by over 50% and reduced payroll processing time by 60%. Using Oracle Interconnect for Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, Wipro completed a low-latency, multicloud migration, enhancing application performance, availability, and security. The modernization also streamlined database management and lowered operational costs.

Bjelin Group, a Swedish wood flooring and furniture components manufacturer, has chosen the IFS Cloud platform to modernize and scale its global operations. The solution will unify processes across supply chain, manufacturing, finance, procurement, and maintenance, improving visibility and efficiency across seven production sites and multiple distribution centers. IFS Cloud will support multi-site production planning, inventory optimization, order-to-cash processes, and asset management. The project, delivered by Addovation in collaboration with IFS and Bjelin, aims to provide a flexible, scalable platform to support the company’s continued growth.

Bristol & Weston NHS Purchasing Consortium (BWPC) has implemented SAP Ariba, working with HCLTech, to modernise procurement, standardise supply chain processes, and strengthen support for patient care. Serving two major NHS trusts with thousands of suppliers and a large product catalogue, BWPC moved from five separate systems to a single SAP Ariba platform. The rollout included the Strategic Sourcing Suite followed by operational procurement and Procure-to-Pay modules. The new system enhances sourcing, compliance, supplier risk management, and purchasing visibility, while introducing guided buying for a more consistent user experience. BWPC expects the platform to improve efficiency and deliver £16 million in savings over five years.
