In a twist, Oracle is tweaking pricing for its new batch of agentic applications with a consumption-based model, along with its all-inclusive packaging for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications customers that has been in place for the past year.
This came to light during a recent Industry Analyst event at a baseball stadium in San Francisco where its executives and customers were touting the advantages of running and extending the Oracle’s standardized foundation to systems of outcomes that could reshape a company’s ability to manage its books, employees, customer interactions and supply chain workflows.
Chris Leone, Oracle executive vice president of development for Fusion HCM, CX, and SCM, said after delivering more than 1,000 agents to 7,000+ customers for immediate deployment, the introduction of 22 agentic applications like Sales Command Center and Claims Settlement Workspace will help put AI to work to solve real-world problems from wrapping up faster financial close to stemming employee attrition.

The pricing of these agentic applications will be unbundled. Customers pay a platform fee which includes a very generous allotment of AI Units. The Units get consumed based on usage tying usage to outcomes.Oracle Fusion Applications customers continue to have unfettered access to Oracle agents and its AI Studio to build their own agents, in addition to pre-built Oracle agent and agentic app templates. These current subscriptions will also come with 20,000 Action Units free every month to use with premium large language models like OpenAI GPT-5.5.
Steven Miranda, Oracle executive vice president of applications development, said the outcome-designed agentic applications represent the vendor’s continuous journey of harnessing its integration capabilities, industry solutions, on top of its Cloud applications suite to drive the best possible business outcomes on behalf of its customers, which otherwise might have to turn to an onslaught AI agents and/or apps not well-tested with underlying data that have not been validated.
Inside the cavernous Oracle Park where baseball greats have honed their skills to perfection through intense training, the agentic journey that Oracle and its customers are embarking on is no different.

At the event, a number of Fortune 500 customers cited their current agentic journey as a manifestation of years of putting their Oracle Fusion Applications systems through their paces in order to achieve a robust foundation that allows for incremental improvements for enterprise workflows by leveraging agentic applications.
A finance executive at a major telco said after activating over 30 agentic applications and use cases, it has seen productivity gains of as much as 20% for some of the underlying business processes like reconciliation.
The executive also reiterated the importance of control when incorporating these agentic applications into its Oracle system of records, allowing for ease of integration, availability of auditing capability and better insight because of common data models and strict governance.
Instead of running an external third-party data lake that powers these agentic applications, the telco will be able to know exactly where the data is derived within the four walls of its systems of record. “That’s where the outcome analysis comes into handy within my space,’’ the telco executive said, “That’s huge.’’

Rondy Ng, Oracle executive vice president of application development for Fusion ERP, said amid IT budget constraints and overhyped AI pilots, the vendor is preoccupied with the end game of helping customers transform their back-office capabilities holistically with emphasis on financial management best practices.
The bottom line for its thousands of customers, according to Ng, is that the vendor’s track record of delivering systems of record is now being augmented by systems of outcomes that offer a policy-based, secure and trusted onramp to AI agentic applications for capturing even more tangible business benefits.
That runs the full gamut of anything from real-time cockpit within Ledger Agentic App to advance clear accounting objectives to what the new Planning Agentic App can do to continuous and automated planning with human involvement before any critical decision is made.
