In 2013, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, classified as ERP Financial, and configured a Multi-Level Entity Regionalization project for the Advanced Commercial Banking System ACBS specific to AgFirst and its associations. The initiative was led to manage transfers of loan records including purchased participations, non-performing records, and direct loans sold within and outside the AgFirst district, with coordination across project managers and multiple departments.
Work on the Oracle PeopleSoft ERP deployment included updating the journal generation program and writing middleware code to produce correct PeopleSoft general ledger entries, match funding, and handle complex account mappings for loans originated by associations and mirrored records held by AgFirst. An automated payoff code was developed for the mainframe to support data transfers, and SQL field remapping converted old field labels to new labels for ACBS ingestion. Specifications were authored and executed with the ACBS technical team to implement an automated notice system that notifies purchasers outside the AgFirst district when transactions are keyed to a loan.
The technical implementation integrated a mainframe loan processing environment with the Advanced Commercial Banking System ACBS and Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, using middleware to mediate ledger and funding flows. Reporting and operational servicing relied on Business Objects XI, SQL extracts, Crystal Reports and Microsoft Excel to produce rollout validation artifacts and month-end operations reports. Rollout coverage included mirrored purchased participation records bought from AgFirst and from outside the district, Rural America Bonds, other property owned, purchased leases, and sold non-performing records, supporting both association-level and bank-level servicing.
Governance used Agile methodology for the majority of teams and a Waterfall approach for a small subset, with the project leader coordinating cross-departmental workflow changes, training, and data movement activities. The team wrote detailed specifications, developed Help & Manual authored documentation for internal and rollout training, and trained staff to execute the transfer of records from the mainframe into ACBS. Technical stewardship focused on aligning ACBS ingestion, PeopleSoft posting rules, and automated notifications to external purchasers.
Testing and verification work included writing, verifying and testing financial reports from Business Objects XI and SQL for rollouts and month-end operations, and daily servicing of purchased participation accounts using Crystal Reports, Excel and PeopleSoft reports to balance servicing accounts. The implementation emphasized accurate ledger mapping, automated external notices, and operational handoff to servicing teams.

| Broadcom | Legacy | AppWorx Workload Automation | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank implemented AppWorx Workload Automation as its Business Process Management solution, establishing an enterprise job scheduling and orchestration layer. AppWorx Workload Automation is cited as the workload automation platform supporting batch and scheduled processing across the bank.
The implementation reflects a standard workload automation architecture with a central scheduling engine and distributed execution agents to manage timed, event driven, and dependency based jobs. Functional capabilities implemented align with job scheduling, calendar management, SLA and error monitoring, dependency orchestration, and automated recovery workflows consistent with Business Process Management platforms.
Operational integrations were focused on coordinating backend processing and batch windows for core banking operations, finance and reporting feeds, and data movement tasks, using the automation platform to sequence ETL and batch reports. The deployment scoped operational coverage to IT operations, production operations, and downstream business consumers such as finance and loan servicing, centralizing job definitions and runbooks to reduce ad hoc scheduling.
Governance was established through centralized scheduling policies, role based access controls, and audit logging to support change control and operational handoffs. Publicly available role data cites a Lead System Administrator for Automic UC4 at AgFirst, indicating a dedicated operational owner for enterprise workload automation and ongoing platform administration.
