NetSuite is jumpstarting the use of AI among thousands of its small and midsized customers in lockstep with their desire to grow exponentially through automation.
At a recent analyst event, Evan Goldberg, Executive Vice President of Oracle NetSuite, said after unveiling its in October 2025 the offering has been the fastest adopted solution in NetSuite’s history. Customers have adopted the tool to plug their mission critical data from NetSuite like customer information into large language models such as OpenAI ChatGPT and Anthropic Claude, facilitating prompts and rapid responses on a real-time basis.
Upping the ante further, the vendor will start delivering AI prompt library and MCP applications – designed to make AI services more interoperable, tangible and accessible within NetSuite – all equipped with guardrails and permission-based instructions fully intact, Goldberg added.
At Magnolia Foods, a Southern California-based 12-year-old tortilla manufacturer that also produces baked goods, the use of AI Connector Service to sync up with Claude has resulted in faster turnaround times for its salespeople when interacting with food services operators all over the country. Previously such queries would have involved IT ticketing or special handling by its NetSuite administrators.
Because of the limited shelf life of its food items like brownies and tortillas, the goal is to spread the use of AI across its finance, manufacturing and divisional heads in order to further boost the velocity and accuracy of its decision-making processes, according to James Newell, ERP Administrator at Magnolia Foods.
“Data is only powerful when it can be acted on quickly and safely,” said Brian Chess, senior vice president of AI, Product, and Technology, Oracle NetSuite, in a statement when announcing NetSuite SuiteCloud Agent Skills, a new product designed to help customers and developers harness low-code or no-code capabilities from different AI services by incorporating them into industry-specific solutions to extend their use of NetSuite.

At Vatn Systems, an autonomous underwater vehicle startup in Bristol, RI, said the use of NetSuite’s embedded AI capabilities will help improve forecasting and optimize resource planning in its race to shake up the submarine defense market globally following its successful round of raising $16.5 million in funding since its inception in 2023.
Sam Levy, Senior Vice President, Growth Strategy and Execution, Oracle NetSuite, said NetSuite’s AI-powered suite gives Vatn Systems real-time insights across its business and the flexibility to scale and support global growth.
To gauge the appetite for AI in the business world, our proprietary and daily-updated Buyer Intent Signals help explain how different companies are evaluating such AI Development tools and AI-Powered applications – about 2,765 entries over the past 90 days – as they start shortlisting vendors and benchmarking themselves against their peers.
The following exhibit shows about 53% of these buyer intent signals are coming from organizations with fewer than 1,000 employees.

Other trend lines from their visits to our premium content and follow-up inquiries show that the vendors under evaluation are highly fragmented with no one particular AI offering accounting for a high single-digit percentage of the combined searches. That suggests that the field for these AI enablers from chatbots to machine learning platforms is still wide open and whomever can smooth and expedite the transition to full-blown workflow automation could stand a greater chance of winning this race.
