Oracle Legacy Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, MasTec implemented Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable as its AP Automation solution. The deployment established a centralized accounts payable workflow within Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable, with configuration focused on invoice capture, voucher creation, invoice-to-payment lifecycle control, approval routing, and supplier master data management. The implementation leveraged Oracle BI Discoverer for operational reporting and BI discovery alongside desktop tools such as Microsoft Excel for reconciliations and Microsoft Office for document handling, with Adobe Acrobat used for PDF invoice review and archival. Functional capabilities in use, as evidenced by on-site billing staff experience, included daily billing processing, structured reporting, and tolerance and matching controls consistent with AP Automation practices. Operational coverage explicitly included billing operations at MasTec Utility Services in Miami, where billing clerks executed daily invoice processing and maintained updated reports using Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable and Oracle BI Discoverer Viewer. Governance and process practice centered on keyed and reconciled billing workflows, spreadsheet-assisted reconciliations using VLOOKUP and PivotTable techniques, and report-driven operational oversight by AP staff.

Oracle Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2025 2025
In 2025, MasTec implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as its Core HR system. The deployment replaced Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS and aligns HR operations with the companys North American infrastructure engineering and construction footprint. Oracle Cloud HCM was configured to centralize workforce records and employee lifecycle transactions, and to provide position and organizational management alongside user self service reporting. The implementation emphasized Core HR functional workflows and employee data normalization to support everyday HR and business user access to personnel information. MasTec deployed Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence alongside Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM applications to create a unified analytics layer. Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence was used to surface cross functional reporting and operational analytics from HCM and adjacent finance and supply chain data, enabling self service reporting while reducing IT reporting overhead. Governance focused on shifting routine reporting and analytic consumption from IT to HR and business users, establishing data stewardship between HR and finance, and operationalizing self service access controls. The stated outcomes include providing self service reporting to everyday users, reducing IT overhead, and giving the business more direct access to actionable insights that can improve decision making.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) Field Service Management ERP Services and Operations iConfiguration Consulting 2018 2018
In 2018 MasTec implemented Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) for Field Service Management. The engagement ran April 2018 to December 2018 in Miami, Florida, and was executed with iConfiguration Consulting providing a Senior Oracle Field Service expert who implemented and configured Oracle Field Service R12.2.6 for production use and led business and technical requirements gathering for the CRM application. Implementation covered core dispatch and scheduling capabilities, including the deployment and demonstration of the new HTML Dispatch Center in R12.2.6. Functional modules configured included Oracle Spares Management R12.2.6 and Oracle Advanced Scheduler, the latter used to execute Field Service tasks spanning multiple weeks to mirror construction industry design schedules. The team performed extensive process design and GAP analysis, process mapping, and created BR100 documentation capturing configuration, development, process flows, change, reporting, and integration design using the AIM Business Flow methodology. Integrations were implemented between Oracle Field Service R12.2.6 and Oracle Projects and Oracle OTL to align field work with project accounting and time capture workflows. The implementation involved direct collaboration with Oracle Field Service development resources for HTML Dispatch Center functionality and with technical developers and database administrators to resolve application behavior and custom Field Service form issues. Operational coverage emphasized field operations, dispatch and scheduling, spares management, and CRM-aligned workflows at the MasTec Miami site. Project governance centered on solution design ownership and BR100 prioritization, with the consultant producing Solution Design documents for the development and project teams and serving as the Oracle Field Service subject matter expert. Configuration decisions, integration components, and process flows were documented to support production rollout and ongoing operational management of Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) for MasTec.
