In 2014 Aesop United States implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform, engaging Annexa to support a rapid international rollout. The engagement was positioned to enable expansion of retail store footprint and eCommerce operations while consolidating core financials across new markets.
Annexa configured Oracle NetSuite ERP together with NetSuite SuiteCommerce to address retail and eCommerce workflows, wholesale distribution needs, and manufacturing oriented fulfilment processes. Configuration work emphasized core financial management, order management, and inventory controls consistent with ERP Financial category capabilities, aligned to retail merchandising and wholesale order orchestration.
Integrations and operational scope were delivered as part of the Annexa services offering, which included implementation, development, integrations, and ongoing support. The program connected storefronts and commerce channels into the NetSuite ERP backbone, providing a unified transaction and financial record across stores and channels, and scaling to accommodate multi country operations.
Governance and rollout followed an expansion cadence that added four new markets and approximately 50 stores per year during the growth phase, enabling Aesop United States to scale from about 50 stores in six countries to roughly 350 stores in 22 countries and grow headcount from several hundred to about 2,000 employees. Annexa maintained ongoing development and support to sustain the Oracle NetSuite ERP environment as the company expanded its global retail and wholesale operations.
