In 2023, 1-Dragon implemented Cloudflare Bot Management on its public retail website. The deployment directly addresses Web Application Firewalls (WAF),Phishing Protection requirements and uses Cloudflare as the vendor to apply edge-layer security to the site.
Cloudflare Bot Management was configured to deliver automated bot detection, adaptive risk scoring, JavaScript challenge enforcement, rate limiting, and managed rule sets aligned with WAF functional patterns. Configuration work focused on HTTP layer protections and bot signature tuning, with thresholds and enforcement levels adjusted for a small commercial traffic profile.
The solution was deployed at the Cloudflare edge by proxying the 1-Dragon domain through Cloudflare to apply protections without requiring changes to upstream web servers. Operational coverage concentrates on storefront, checkout, and customer account pages, with ownership assigned to the small web operations team, and a staged testing to enforcement workflow used to limit false positives during rollout.
