The Accounting Manager served as project lead for the Oracle Fusion Financials implementation and coordinated configuration activities across Accounts Payable, Procurement and Mortgage Accounting functions.
The implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable focused on core AP Automation workflows including invoice capture and imaging, purchase order matching, vendor master maintenance, approval workflow automation and electronic payment processing. Configuration work included automated general ledger posting to support month end close processes and recurring cost allocation routines used by accounting operations.
Operationally the Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable module was integrated with the Oracle Fusion Financials General Ledger and Procurement modules within the same cloud estate to align payable transactions with procurement commitments and mortgage accounting entries. The deployment covered the Accounts Payable, Procurement and Mortgage Accounting departments and was used to standardize transaction flows and ledger posting across those business functions.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical implementation, with new policies and procedures for invoice controls, quarterly SOX control certification, approval of general ledger and internal account reconciliations, and involvement of accounting operations staff in merger and acquisition activities.
