Michelin standardized initial deployments of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on core financial management, sales, and supply chain management capabilities, with the option to add more advanced functionality later. Installations typically completed in 6 to 12 months, and the solution now handles multiple currencies across ten countries with two additional deployments underway, reflecting a repeatable template for SMB integration across the enterprise.
Integrations and interoperability focused on Microsoft technologies, Business Central connecting to Power BI to build a consolidated data repository for analytics and reporting, and working alongside Microsoft 365 productivity apps and the Microsoft Power Platform to streamline user workflows and automation. Michelin also enforces multifactor authentication as part of the SaaS security posture, and engaged COSMO CONSULT as a Microsoft Solutions Partner to localize Business Central and accelerate successful, regionally compliant rollouts.
Governance and rollout were managed by a cross functional ERP transformation team led by Michelin ERP transformation and enterprise architecture leaders, supported by an IT organization of more than 500 staff that manages over 200 applications globally. Michelin reported low business continuity impact in deployments, citing a commercial agency that reached 64 percent of its sales plan in four days and exceeded the monthly projection to 134 percent, and the company is exploring future extensions such as generative AI to further evolve Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central usage.

Aon Hewitt Rewards was used to standardize statement formatting and communications templates, supporting data aggregation workflows for payroll and benefits information and enabling consistent rewards messaging across employee cohorts.
Operational coverage included HR, compensation, benefits and internal communications teams across France and the wider EMEA region, with output targeted to employee populations for pay and benefits transparency. The work implied coordination of data validation and content approval between rewards specialists and HR communications owners to ensure accuracy and compliance with regional requirements.
Governance was executed as part of Michelin's HR communications program, with production and distribution processes designed to centralize rewards messaging for EMEA employees. The project received a Silver award from LACP for employee communications, reflecting external recognition of the effectiveness of the Total Rewards communications produced using Aon Hewitt Rewards.
