In 2018, Printpack, Inc. upgraded to Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and moved its hosting to Amazon Web Services while targeting the application as their central ERP Financial platform. The project combined a version upgrade to EnterpriseOne 9.2 with a public cloud hosting transition to address performance and uptime constraints experienced in a long running, dedicated managed private cloud environment.
The implementation focused on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as the core ERP Financial system supporting finance and operational workflows, with configuration and tuning aligned to EnterpriseOne 9.2 capabilities. Functional workstreams emphasized transaction processing performance, batch and interactive response optimization, and platform-level configuration to leverage EnterpriseOne 9.2 features for financial management and core ERP processes.
Syntax served as the systems integrator, delivering Syntax Enterprise Cloud built on Amazon Web Services as the hosting and infrastructure layer. The deployment architecture centralized JD Edwards application tiers on AWS infrastructure while preserving integrations to Printpack’s broader application footprint, enabling quicker access to operational and financial information across IT and business teams.
Governance and rollout were executed as a coordinated upgrade and migration, aligning IT applications development and operations to the new hosting model and updated EnterpriseOne release. Printpack reported improved system performance and faster access to information, and attributed the decision to Syntax expertise and the AWS backed infrastructure supporting Syntax Enterprise Cloud.

The Quadient Neopost IN-700 implementation supported meter-based postage application, postage stamping, and integrated weighing and rate calculation workflows for outgoing mail and parcels.
The implementation encompassed functional capabilities to affix postage using the IN-700 postage meter, verify recipient addressing and material condition, weigh items and determine postage using scales and rate charts, and prepare mail for delivery to carrier facilities. Reception responsibilities ran alongside mailing duties, including switchboard call routing, greeting associates and guests, and responding to email inquiries.
Governance for the mailing function emphasized standardized procedures for address verification, sorting, postage determination, and chain of custody for incoming and outgoing shipments. Ancillary responsibilities tied to the deployment included annual management of Certificates of Insurance for HR outsource vendors and administrative control of office display messaging through Visix, aligning mailroom, reception, and vendor governance with the Mailing System implementation.
