The platform provided reporting and audit trail capabilities used to prepare supplier meeting documentation and to reconcile operational meeting expenses. Travel-related expense capture and automated claim submission were standard functional patterns implemented to streamline executive travel and meeting expense handling.

The implementation integrated Oracle Retail with IBM PIM, Oracle AIA, Datastage and WCS 7, using Oracle AIA for application-level integration and Datastage for ETL and data consolidation into the product information hub. Integration patterns routed product catalog records, pricing feeds, stock level updates and order events between IBM PIM, Oracle Retail and the WCS 7 web commerce layer to enable synchronized online commerce operations.
Operational scope focused on Coles Online Stores with governance led by central merchandising, ecommerce and IT teams, and rollout executed in phased configuration and testing cycles to align catalog, pricing and fulfillment workflows.
