In 2018 Cantor Fitzgerald implemented Oracle Cloud ERP, deploying an ERP Financial solution to replace Oracle E-Business Suite. The Oracle Cloud ERP program was executed with FusionTek Systems as the systems integrator and focused on consolidating core finance and procurement processes.
The implementation emphasized core general ledger configuration, including calendars, chart of accounts instances, ledgers, cross validation rules and legal entities, and the setup of approval workflows for requisitions and purchase orders using the BPM worklist. Functional setups included security design, creation of security roles, data access sets and user provisioning to align access with finance and procurement responsibilities.
Data migration leveraged Oracle File Based Data Imports to convert journals, daily rates, payables standard invoices, accounts receivable invoices, customer master records, supplier records with addresses and site assignments, open purchase orders, requisitions and sales orders from Oracle E-Business Suite into Oracle Cloud ERP. Reporting and analytics work included the development of OTBI dashboards and BI Publisher reports for purchasing, receivables and payables, and scheduling of extracts. Integration work used Oracle Integration Cloud to automate GL journal flows, AP inbound invoice processing and to schedule BI Publisher extracts.

In 2018 Cantor Fitzgerald deployed Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management as part of a broader Oracle HCM Cloud initiative, executing a global single-instance strategy to consolidate employee data across its 60 offices in 20 countries. The Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management implementation went live on July 1, 2018, delivering Absence and Leave Management capabilities in time for the summer vacation period and aligning with the firm’s cadence for benefits and payroll rollouts.
The deployment focused on core HR and self-service absence-management features, configuring employee self-service for vacation and sick day tracking, time-off balance visibility, and standardized workflows for onboarding, promotions, and transfers. Design sessions beginning in September 2017 and iterative process playback reviews in December 2017 and March 2018 informed configuration choices and process automation, creating a consistent absence workflow and HR data model across legal entities.
Operational integration was aligned with Cantor Fitzgerald’s existing Oracle estate, maintaining connectivity with Oracle E-Business Suite for financial operations and planning a future transition to Oracle ERP Cloud to keep HR and finance functions unified. The firm also integrated Oracle Taleo Learn for training records, enabling absence data to coexist with learning and talent records inside the Oracle HCM Cloud ecosystem, while HR representatives in each country retained the ability to maintain local employee records and run required regulatory reports.
Governance and rollout were phased, led through Oracle Applications Consulting engagement during the design and playback phases, with centralized governance to enforce standardized absence policies and local controls to meet country-specific requirements. Cantor Fitzgerald prepared the benefits module for its October open-enrollment window and scheduled payroll activation to coincide with tax reporting season, while employees gained immediate access to personal profiles and Absence and Leave Management functionality to submit and track leave requests.
