In 2010, 2MT Mining Products implemented Access Attache Accounts, an Accounting Software solution, to centralize finance, inventory and order processing across its Mackay, Australia operations. The deployment supported a 50-person organization with external sales in Queensland, internal counter sales, product support and store operations, bringing transactional financial workflows into a single application environment. Access Attache Accounts was configured to handle core accounting modules expected of Accounting Software, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales order processing, purchase order processing, inventory and stock control, debtor and creditor invoice processing, and part number management. Access Attache Accounts was also used to formalize backorder reporting and standardize stock reordering procedures that had previously been maintained in spreadsheets. Operational coverage spanned sales, purchasing, stores and finance, aligning sales quoting, purchase requisitioning and invoice processing within the same system. The implementation consolidated document and spreadsheet based activities such as customer quotations and backorder reports from Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel into the Access Attache Accounts environment, reducing reliance on manual file handoffs. Governance focused on workflow alignment between sales and finance teams, part master data controls for product and part number creation, and process changes for stock receipt and dispatch activities. Training and procedural updates emphasized transaction entry standards, stock control reconciliation and consistent debtor and creditor invoice handling across the business.
