| Component Control | Legacy | Quantum Control ERP | Aviation ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019, 316 Aviation Company implemented Quantum Control ERP as its Aviation ERP to centralize transactional aviation maintenance and parts workflows and to feed the company accounting processes. Quantum Control ERP was used to capture purchases, sales orders, and invoices, supporting finance and operations for the Pembroke Pines, Florida based operator with approximately 15 employees. Quantum Control ERP was configured to manage core aviation workflows including purchase order processing, sales order management, invoicing, inventory product control with FIFO valuation, accounts receivable tracking, and accounts payable review. Monthly financial controls were operationalized alongside the system, including preparation of journal entries for fixed assets and depreciation, inventory adjustments, bank reconciliations, and credit card posting and reconciliations. The implementation included explicit data handoffs from Quantum Control ERP into QuickBooks Desktop, with extracts used to obtain purchases, sales orders, and invoices into the accounting ledger. Payroll cost capture and tax reporting were supported operationally by access to the ADP system to download payroll reports and create payroll journal entries, and processes incorporated quarterly and annual federal and state tax validation and 1099 Misc reporting. Governance and process changes centered on finance and administrative controls, including review of vendor statements, AP coding and approval workflows, AR aging, credit limit and term adjustments, and procedures to record invoice factoring within QuickBooks according to contract clauses. Staff accountant responsibilities documented in the implementation emphasized monthly reconciliations, reporting of profit and loss and balance sheet shifts, and alignment of Quantum Control ERP transactional data with established accounting procedures. |
