In 2018 HSN deployed Coupa Invoice as a dedicated invoice processing layer within its AP Automation footprint. The implementation centralized invoice capture, validation, coding, and approval for outsourcing partner billing and internal procurements, and it was positioned alongside the existing Coupa Procure to Pay system to handle requisition approvals and purchase order controls.
Coupa Invoice was configured to support standard AP Automation workflows, including electronic supplier invoice submission, invoice matching to purchase orders, exception routing for nonmatched invoices, and configurable approval hierarchies. The configuration emphasized invoice validation and audit trails to support authorized payments and both indirect and direct procurement approvals that HSN operations required.
Operationally the deployment covered the outsourcing and finance teams responsible for managing partner billings, requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice processing across HSNs outsourcing relationships. Integrations were implemented between Coupa Invoice and the Coupa Procure to Pay system to ensure PO driven invoice matching and to align requisition approvals with downstream payment authorization processes.
Governance and process ownership were embedded with the teams that managed outsourcing partner performance, change management, and procurement approvals, leveraging Coupa Invoice for invoice routing, PO controls, and exception handling. The rollout emphasized operational controls, requisition and PO reconciliation, and maintaining approval workflows to support ongoing supplier billing and payment authorization activities.

In 2018, HSN transitioned system administration to Workday HCM, deploying the application as its Core HR platform. The implementation centered on core human capital management and recruiting capabilities used by HR, recruiting, and talent management teams across the United States.
Workday HCM was configured to support the Recruiting and Onboarding business processes, with system administration focused on building, modifying, and enhancing recruiting workflows and onboarding sequences. The administrator created custom reports and configured business process steps and security roles to support recruiter and hiring manager transactions, while continuing stewardship of HCM configuration and user access.
The Workday HCM deployment operated alongside existing talent systems, with prior applicant tracking administration performed on Taleo and talent management functions managed in Cornerstone On Demand. Integration and operational coordination emphasized data handoffs between Workday Recruiting and Cornerstone On Demand for performance management and succession workflows, and routine reporting to support recruiting operations.
Governance and rollout activities were led from HR and People Systems, with responsibilities including training new recruiting team members, ongoing user support, and iterative process improvements. The HRIS administrator contributed to design and implementation of Performance Management and Succession Management processes in Cornerstone On Demand, while continuing to explore new functionality within Workday HCM and adjacent talent systems.

Integrations focused on connecting Oracle Retail (ex Retek) outputs into HSNs e-commerce and partner channels, enabling merchandising and inventory data to feed content and commerce flows on HSN.com and the partner B2B site. Governance emphasized centralized application support, cross-functional technical leadership, and coordinated rollout and enhancement activities across merchandising, e-commerce, and supply chain functions.
