UKG Legacy UKG Pro HCM (ex UltiPro HCM) Core HR HCM n/a 2024 2024
In 2024, A.M. Best Company operated UKG Pro HCM (ex UltiPro HCM) as a central element of its Core HR environment to manage payroll and HR administration. During a contract from Aug 2024 to Apr 2025 the Sr. Payroll Temp processed biweekly payroll for more than 600 employees across 10 states, demonstrating the application s use for multi state payroll operations. UKG Pro HCM (ex UltiPro HCM) and UKG Ready were used to execute core payroll capabilities including standard payroll runs, supplemental payroll runs, payroll adjustments, final pay processing, and bonus payrolls. The implementation included administration of state registrations and ongoing tax compliance tasks, plus generation of payroll reporting and coordination of garnishment payments. Operational workflows spanned Payroll, Finance, HR benefits administration and front line managers, with the payroll function producing 401(k) and benefit funding files for timely funding. System governance included creation and monitoring of UKG support tickets to resolve payroll issues, delivery of system training to managers and employees, and collaboration with Finance on payroll reporting and garnishment reconciliation. Controls and process improvement work was led through ad hoc payroll improvement and audit projects, and reconciliations were performed using spreadsheet based variance analysis with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. The narrative reflects configuration and operational usage of UKG Pro HCM (ex UltiPro HCM) within Core HR for payroll, compliance, benefits funding and cross functional payroll governance.
