Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Aalst Chocolate implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX as its ERP Financial system at its Singapore operations. The engagement was led by a Microsoft Dynamics AX Senior Consultant and Team Lead from MSC CONSULTING (S) PTE. LTD., with delivery centered on Dynamics AX 2012 R3 functional coverage for a consumer packaged goods producer. The implementation configured core modules including Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Production, Master Planning, Service Management, and Project Accounting. Configuration work spanned UAT and PRD environments, with fit gap analysis, functional design documentation, specification of customizations and report and form requirements, unit testing, end to end testing and UAT based on user scenarios. Operational coverage focused on procurement, order to cash, inventory and warehouse operations, production planning and execution, service operations and project accounting, with intermodule orchestration to support integrated business processes. Master data migration and beginning balance transaction migration were executed to provision production data, and the solution was positioned to serve finance and operations functions across the Singapore site. Governance and rollout followed structured workshops to capture business requirements, development of FDD artifacts, key user training and training manuals, and a defined migration and go live strategy. Post go live support and maintenance were included in the engagement, with the consultant leading functional and technical teams and managing high level communications with Aalst Chocolate management and user communities.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics AX Payroll Module Payroll HCM n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Aalst Chocolate implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX Payroll Module across its Singapore operations, initiating a companywide payroll deployment as part of its broader Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP program. The project was led by an ERP project lead who assembled a cross‑departmental project team from HR, finance, and operations to coordinate requirements, configuration, testing, and go live activities. The Microsoft Dynamics AX Payroll Module implementation concentrated on core Payroll functionality, including employee master records, pay calculation engines, configured pay cycles, deduction and benefits handling, statutory payroll parameterization for Singapore, and payroll reporting. Configuration work emphasized aligning pay runs with month end close processes and setting up payroll calendars and accrual treatments consistent with established accounting practices. Payroll was deployed inside the companys Dynamics AX environment to maintain transactional consistency, with functional integration into HR master data flows and finance posting workflows within AX. The scope covered HR and finance business functions across the company, enabling payroll journal generation, employee payroll history, and operational payroll runs to be consumed by downstream finance processes. Governance was centralized under the ERP project lead who managed project deliverables, timeline, and budget, and who directed change management activities to address staff resistance prior to rollout. The implementation included onsite support during go live and immediate post go live teething issue resolution, along with training and user support to stabilize payroll operations using the Microsoft Dynamics AX Payroll Module.
