| Deltek | Legacy | Deltek ComputerEase | Construction ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2014 | 2014 | In 2014, Aapco Group implemented Deltek ComputerEase. Deltek ComputerEase served as the Construction ERP to centralize job setup, project cost tracking and administrative workflows for the company's multi-family renovation operations. Configuration emphasized project and financial capabilities commonly found in Construction ERP deployments, including job setup and job costing, purchase order processing and vendor invoice controls, customer billing and accounts receivable, and document management for permits and contract attachments. The implementation supported the administrative functions described in the company workflow, such as uploading job documentation, setting up jobs in the system, issuing purchase orders, negotiating and ordering rental equipment, and invoicing customers per contract terms. Deltek ComputerEase was configured to enforce invoice approval gates and to capture job-related accounting entries submitted by administrative staff and project managers. Operational scope included the office administration team, project managers and finance personnel, and extended to subcontractor coordination and materials tracking at the job level. The system mapped roles to activities such as permit application tracking, arranging housing for project managers and subcontractors, approving or revising vendor and subcontractor invoices, and monitoring invoice payment status. Centralizing these processes in Deltek ComputerEase placed project and financial data in a single system of record to support clerical, project management and accounting workflows. Governance activities focused on formalizing document upload protocols, vendor and subcontractor invoice approval workflows, and customer invoice validation prior to submission. The rollout emphasized consistent process adherence across administrative, project management and finance functions to maintain accurate job records within the Construction ERP. |
