In 2018, ABC Legal Services implemented Ironclad Clickwrap (formerly PactSafe) as its Contract Lifecycle Management solution to standardize contractor consent and agreement capture for recruiting and onboarding functions. The deployment focused on embedding clickwrap acceptance into candidate-facing workflows to ensure consistent capture of terms for independent contractor engagements.
Ironclad Clickwrap was configured to use templated agreement artifacts, click-to-accept consent capture, automated acceptance recording and audit trails, and version control for contract templates. Typical Contract Lifecycle Management capabilities such as templating, acceptance timestamping, and electronic evidence storage were applied to contractor agreements and onboarding packets to create repeatable, candidate-facing transactions.
Integrations were implemented with HubSpot and Outlook to align recruiter communications and candidate records, with Checkr to link background check status to contract acceptance, and with Calendar, ABC Legal Courses, and Skype to coordinate scheduling, training enrollment, and interview workflows. These integrations supported a continuous recruiter-to-contractor workflow, connecting CRM activities, communications, background screening, scheduling, and training enrollment to contract execution events.
Governance and operational rollout included training a national team of recruiters on daily processes and use of Ironclad Clickwrap, and coordination with the director of partner performance to enforce contractor standards and ongoing onboarding procedures. Role based access control, audit log review practices, and standardized onboarding checklists were institutionalized to support consistent execution across recruiting and partner performance functions.
