In 2015, Abletts Transport Pty Ltd implemented Access MicrOpay ex Sage MicrOpay for Payroll. The deployment centralized weekly payroll processing across Queanbeyan, Sydney and Melbourne depots, covering approximately 70 employees across driving and administrative roles, with Access MicrOpay ex Sage MicrOpay serving as the primary payroll calculation and pay run orchestration system. Configuration focused on weekly payroll routines, pay item mapping for trip rates and overtime, and time and attendance import workflows. Implemented functional capabilities included pay run scheduling, leave and deduction handling, and payroll reporting to support routine administration. Access MicrOpay ex Sage MicrOpay was integrated with Translogix and aPayroll to ingest trip data and calculate weekly trips for 28 long distance drivers, while time capture from a Bundy system was mapped into the payroll engine to process weekly payroll for 35 local transport workers. Administrative staff payroll duties were processed directly within Access MicrOpay ex Sage MicrOpay using standard pay run and payroll administration screens. Operational governance established a weekly payroll cadence with named payroll duties for administrators, including validation of trip imports and reconciliation of Bundy time feeds. The rollout standardized pay item codes across depots and enforced consistent import templates from Translogix, aPayroll and the Bundy system to maintain payroll accuracy, prioritizing centralized pay run control with depot level operational data feeds.
