In 2010 Abu Dhabi Ports implemented Oracle E-Business Suite to consolidate finance, procurement, CRM, and document management under a unified ERP Financial platform. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment was positioned to address the exponential growth of ADPC operational activities and the disparate nature of applications that operated in isolation across the enterprise.
The implementation delivered a suite of Oracle products including Oracle Financials, Oracle Procurement, Oracle Siebel Collections, Oracle Siebel Administration Server, Oracle Hyperion, and Oracle Universal Content Management. Functional coverage included core financial management and reporting, procure-to-pay and supplier workflows, accounts receivable and collections processes, Siebel-based CRM administration, Hyperion-driven daily business intelligence and performance management, and an integrated document management capability tied to ERP transactions.
Fujitsu facilitated the implementation and systems integration work, delivering a single web-based solution tightly integrated with existing disparate systems. The deployed architecture emphasized a web-accessible Oracle E-Business Suite transactional layer, a Siebel CRM and collections layer, a Hyperion reporting and BI layer, and Universal Content Management embedded into ERP workflows to control documents and records.
Operational scope and governance spanned finance, procurement, CRM and HR process integration across Abu Dhabi Ports, with governance organized around end-to-end process orchestration, centralized document workflows, and BI-driven operational reporting. Reported outcomes included enhanced operational efficiencies, improved information-led decision making, and strengthened IT infrastructure security.

In 2017, Abu Dhabi Ports implemented IBM Maximo as an Enterprise Asset Management solution to consolidate asset oversight across its ports and industrial zones. The IBM Maximo deployment was configured to meet the special demands of Abu Dhabi Ports and provides an enterprise wide management platform that improves the reliability and availability of key operational equipment.
IBM Maximo was configured to deliver a holistic asset registry, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling and mobile enabled field workflows consistent with Enterprise Asset Management capabilities. The solution is IoT enabled and links directly to the management and control systems on board modern port equipment, enabling telemetry informed status updates and more timely maintenance interventions.
The implementation centralized asset management across Zayed Port, Khalifa Port, Safeen and Kizad through a single platform that is fully integrated into other existing systems in the Abu Dhabi Ports environment. Operational, engineering and contractor management functions were aligned to the platform so on site engineers and contractors receive dispatch and support via mobile technology.
Governance was organized around the enterprise platform to standardize maintenance processes and create a canonical source of asset status and history in IBM Maximo. The deployment is explicitly intended to maximize asset useful life, minimize asset outages and reduce operating costs by combining IoT telemetry, mobile execution and consolidated maintenance process control.
