The project emphasized benefits enrollment automation and population management workflows to support benefits and wellness operations across the enterprise.
Operational coverage for the rollout included HR, benefits and wellness teams, and workforce management operations, and the internal team coordinated benefits governance for ATSG and nine subsidiaries covering a population of 4,500 employees. Integrations centered on the migration from the Infinium HRIS environment into the UKG HR and workforce management stack, with data consolidation and role based access controls implemented to support day to day HR and benefits administration.
Governance and process changes were driven by benefits and wellness leadership who participated on the HCM implementation team, and communications were restructured with a benefits brand and a one stop shop employee web presence. Explicit outcomes reported alongside the implementation include successful migration of benefit enrollments from richer PPO options to consumer driven HDHP options for cost savings, the establishment of onsite primary care and dental clinics, recouping overcharges from vendors, and measurable increases in preventive care participation tied to the benefits and wellness program.

The IFS Maintenix deployment was configured to support standard Aviation MRO capabilities, including maintenance planning, work order and task card management, technical records consolidation, and inventory and materials workflows. Configuration work emphasized aligning Maintenix functional modules with airline maintenance processes and establishing validation rules for aircraft records and component traceability.
Data migration and validation were central to the program, with Metaforá Consulting LLC providing lead data validation and supplemental staff to cleanse, map and verify maintenance data prior to cutover. The operational scope for these activities spanned ABX Air and affiliated operating entities, and testing cycles were used to iterate on data quality and records integrity before system go live.
Governance activities were structured around data stewardship and validation controls, including defined validation criteria, reconciliation runs and staged test-to-production cycles to support rollout. Metaforá Consulting served in a sustained advisory and delivery role from Jun 2015 to Aug 2020, driving design, development and staffing to operationalize IFS Maintenix within ABX Air’s maintenance and records environment.
