In just under two months the EventsAIR team transitioned the traditional physical conference online and delivered over 50 sessions, achieving the second highest attendance in AIB history.
The EventsAIR OnAIR deployment centered on core Event Management capabilities including session scheduling and delivery for more than 50 sessions, interactive presentation tools, social networking groups, and the Meeting Hub for one-on-one connections. Configuration emphasized attendee engagement workflows, moderator controls for live sessions, and networking facilitation to reproduce in-person interaction within a virtual environment.
Operational coverage was focused on conference operations and member engagement functions, with the platform used by event staff to centralize program scheduling, content delivery, group networking, and individual meeting coordination. The implementation streamlined event administration and attendee onboarding, and the Meeting Hub emerged as the most popular feature because it supported ad hoc one-on-one connections that resembled physical conference meetings.
Rollout governance was rapid and execution driven by the EventsAIR delivery team, requiring fast reconfiguration of schedules, session workflows and attendee support processes. AIB adapted event moderation and networking facilitation practices to the virtual format, and reported that the Meeting Hub helped attendees feel like they were at an actual physical conference.
