In 2020, Accenture Australia implemented Oracle Aconex Connected BIM. The Oracle Aconex Connected BIM deployment targeted Building Information Modeling workflows within Accenture Australia, aligning the application to construction project delivery, design collaboration, and project controls business functions across the firm’s Australia practice.
The implementation configured Oracle Aconex Connected BIM as a centralized common data environment with model coordination, federated model viewing, document management, revision control, issue tracking, and permissioned access. Configuration emphasized model versioning, automated transmittal and notification workflows, and structured BIM data schemas to support coordinated design review and clash identification activities.
CENDIEN served as the implementation partner, leading data mapping, cutover planning, and system configuration. The program included migration activities tied to Microsoft Dynamics AX for handover of project financial and resourcing data, and established integration touch points and data reconciliation routines during the transition to Oracle Aconex Connected BIM.
Governance was formalized with role based access controls, change control procedures, and a phased rollout aligned to Accenture Australia’s professional services and project delivery teams. CENDIEN supported training, governance documentation, and phased adoption to embed Building Information Modeling workflows into existing project lifecycle processes.
