The project supported integration of new and existing equipment and production lines, enabling data collection directly from production operations into ECI Deacom ERP for greater operational visibility. The system informed logistics teams across purchasing, inventory, warehouse, shipping and receiving, and production, aligning transactional workflows with standard operating procedures required for GMP, NSF and Health Canada certification standards.
Governance activities emphasized SOP development and continuous improvement planning, with leaders responsible for developing timelines and action plans for cost reduction activities. In 2021 Acenzia deployed Cloudflare CDN on their website, implementing Cloudflare CDN as their Content Delivery Network to serve public web assets. The deployment positions Cloudflare as a reverse proxy in front of the acenzia.com origin, leveraging edge caching and HTTP caching policies to reduce origin fetches and accelerate static asset delivery. Configuration included DNS cutover to Cloudflare endpoints and standard CDN controls for cache TTLs, cache purges, and TLS termination, aligning the Content Delivery Network with the company web hosting architecture.
Operational ownership sits with Acenzia's internal web and IT team in Canada, with the scope focused on the public website and marketing collateral delivery. Implementation practices referenced typical CDN capabilities, including edge caching, request routing, and application layer controls for content invalidation, and established governance for DNS change control and cache invalidation workflows. Cloudflare CDN is described in the context of Content Delivery Network functionality, and the configuration emphasizes web performance and availability responsibilities within Acenzia's existing web operations.
