Operational use included generating postal indicia and supporting permit imprinting and meter reconciliation workflows required for regulated postage processing.
The mailing implementation operated alongside explicit integrations and operational workflows, staff entered outbound shipment data into UPS WorldShip for carrier processing while meter postage was issued by Quadient IS-280 iMeter. Hardware support workflows were integrated with a ticketing system for error handling and technician dispatch, and on-site device maintenance covered copiers and printers including toner refurbishment, scheduled service, and equipment replacement.
Governance assigned the mailing and facilities team responsibility for physical security tasks such as creating and disabling employee badges and producing badge reports for upper management and Human Resources, these processes ran in tandem with mailing operations.
