In 2017, Acme Distribution Centers implemented ProShip Shipping. ProShip Shipping is a Shipping Management application used to manage carrier interfaces, label generation and shipment manifesting at Acme Distribution Centers' Aurora, CO distribution site, and it was deployed into a VMware virtual environment supporting 200 users.
Configuration work focused on shipping workflows typical for the Shipping Management category, including carrier interfacing, label generation and manifesting, with label design produced through the Seagull Bartender suite. Reporting and operational visibility were delivered through SSRS reports and Oracle SQL queries, aligning ProShip Shipping transaction data with existing reporting tools.
ProShip Shipping operated alongside UPS WorldShip and was supported within the same operational stack as the Warehouse Management System and Transportation Management System, enabling coordinated pick, pack and ship workflows. Printer and device support included multi function devices, thermal label printers, line printers and RF units, and the environment was integrated into the enterprise network fabric managed with Brocade, Fatpipe and Ruckus infrastructure.
Operational ownership rested with an Application Support Specialist based in Aurora, CO who handled day to day production support, label template management, printer troubleshooting and SSRS report maintenance, and who implemented new technology to improve end user productivity. Governance emphasized hands on support, SQL driven diagnostics and ongoing configuration updates rather than centralized governance tooling.

In 2024, Acme Distribution Centers deployed A1 Tracker from A1 Enterprise as a Risk Management application to centralize freight, order and cost tracking across its third party logistics operations in the United States. The deployment positions A1 Tracker to support logistics and operations teams and to underpin claims workflows within the company’s broader risk and claims management program.
Implementation emphasized the A1 Tracker Logistics module to capture order lifecycle events, freight movement, and cost allocation across 3PL partners, this module use is inferred from the Coolfire case study rather than named directly by the vendor. Functional configuration focused on shipment event ingestion, freight charge and cost capture, and claims workflow support, aligning shipment status, cost visibility, and claims ticketing to operational and claims processes.
The Coolfire case study published in 2024 documents a planned integration between Coolfire and A1 Tracker Logistics to improve freight tracking and claims visibility, establishing a systems integration milestone in the rollout. Operational coverage spans logistics operations and claims across Acme Distribution Centers third party logistics footprint in the United States, with governance oriented around standardizing shipment event feeds and mapping event-driven triggers into claims workflows for operations and claims stakeholders.
