In 2014 ACS International School Cobham implemented MHR iTrent HR as its Core HR application. The deployment supported an employee population of approximately 600 across three ACS campuses in the United Kingdom, centralizing HR record keeping and staffing processes within a single HR/Payroll system.
MHR iTrent HR was configured to manage employee data and staffing records, produce Contracts of Employment for new hires, and capture payroll-related changes ahead of payroll deadlines. The system was also used to run employee reports and process routine HR queries, with explicit workflows for inputting new staff into the staffing system and maintaining the Single Central Register in line with ISI requirements.
Operationally the implementation extended across HR administration functions including recruitment reference collection for the previous five years, comprehensive pre-employment and safeguarding checks such as DBS checks, Barred List Checks, International Police checks, Management Prohibition Checks and Teacher Prohibition checks, absence management through sign-in sheets and return to work documentation, and processing employee expenses for Home-Leave and Relocation benefits. Governance responsibilities were concentrated in the HR administrator role, which handled day to day enquiries, reference requests, staffing data maintenance in MHR iTrent HR, and coordination of paperwork for payroll and compliance processes.
