In 2017, Active Exhaust deployed Vena Financial Close Management to centralize consolidated reporting as part of its Financial Consolidation and Close efforts. The rollout targeted the company finance organization and individual business unit reporting workflows, establishing a single source for consolidated income statements, balance sheets and cash flows.
Vena Financial Close Management was configured to leverage an intuitive Excel interface driven by the Vena Growth Engine, enabling finance users to work in standard spreadsheets while applying centralized controls. Kevin and Avo adopted the same standard template across each business unit to standardize line item mapping, reporting structure and period close submissions, reducing variance in account presentation.
The implementation included a central database that integrated directly with the company ERP, SYSPRO, removing the need for manual keying of transactional and period-close data. Operational coverage focused on consolidated financial reporting and close orchestration across business units, with governance enforced through the shared template and centralized dataset to streamline reconciliation and submission workflows.
