In 2006, Acushnet implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP as an ERP Financial solution to centralize purchase receipt processing and financial posting across its operations. The deployment targeted procurement receipt capture and integration with warehouse operations to support procure to pay workflows and financial accounting for inventory receipts.
The implementation configured Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to accept Purchase Order Receipts as transactional inputs, and the team developed a custom webMethods interface to publish Purchase Order Receipts in XML from the Global Warehouse Management System to PeopleSoft. Oracle PeopleSoft ERP was configured to map incoming XML receipt payloads into receiving transactions and related financial events, aligning receiving and accounts payable processing.
Architecturally the solution used webMethods middleware for message transport and XML transformation, enabling asynchronous event-driven integration between the Global Warehouse Management System and Oracle PeopleSoft ERP. The interface centralized receipt event handling, applied schema validation, and performed field mapping so warehouse receipt data fed directly into PeopleSoft transaction tables and financial posting processes.
Operational coverage included supply chain, warehouse operations, procurement, and finance groups, with governance centered on standardized XML message schemas, receipt validation rules, and reconciled receipt to invoice controls. Change management emphasized process alignment between warehouse receiving procedures and PeopleSoft receiving workflows to ensure consistent transaction handling across systems.

In 2014, Acushnet implemented Infor M3 as its Manufacturing ERP to standardize core production and supply chain processes. The deployment targeted manufacturing operations, inventory control, production planning, order fulfillment and financial management across the company’s operational footprint.
Infor M3 was configured to support manufacturing execution, inventory management, order management and core financials. Implementation work focused on production scheduling, material requirements planning and serialized inventory handling, and on consolidating master data for products and bills of material to ensure consistent planning and costing in the Manufacturing ERP.
The Infor M3 environment was integrated with Manhattan Warehouse Management to coordinate warehouse operations, with SAP Hybris and Salesforce Commerce Cloud for eCommerce order capture and channel order orchestration, with Oracle HCM for workforce and payroll interfaces, and with Centric PLM to consume product specifications and lifecycle data. These integrations synchronized order, inventory and product master records to align manufacturing, warehouse and commerce workflows.
Governance emphasized cross functional ownership between manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams, with configuration management and change control applied to Infor M3. The rollout was executed in phased waves to stabilize modules and integrations, and processes were restructured to centralize master data and standardize order to cash and procure to pay workflows.
