OnTheClock Legacy OnTheClock Payroll Payroll HCM n/a 2024 2024
In February 2024, ACW Law implemented OnTheClock Payroll to enforce employee breaks and modernize time tracking. The implementation at the Lincoln, Nebraska law firm focused on time and attendance control for a 15 person staff, aligning the OnTheClock Payroll application with the firm’s payroll and HR workflows and the Payroll function. OnTheClock Payroll was configured to capture employee timecards with break enforcement rules and to generate administrative and printable payroll reports. Configuration emphasized timecard validation and break compliance flags, together with scheduled report generation to create consistent records for payroll processing. The setup reflects standard Payroll capabilities such as timecard management, rule-based break enforcement, and report-oriented payroll handoff. Operationally, timecards and printed reports were exported to a payroll processor to enable outsourcing of payroll, as described in the source case study. The rollout centralized timekeeping across attorneys and administrative staff in a single office, standardizing time capture and break policy enforcement and centralizing recordkeeping used by internal HR and the external payroll processor.
