In 2014, Adchem implemented KPI Document Management in the Document Management category to centralize CRM, project and regulatory data for its Dubai-based pharmaceutical and ingredients operations. The initiative targeted support for long multi-year customer development cycles and formalized a single-content repository for project and regulatory deliverables.
The deployment used the KPI Document Management application to establish document control workflows, versioning and audit trail capabilities, and role-based access controls consistent with document management best practices. Adchem configured document metadata and approval routing to align project documentation, regulatory dossiers and customer records with ongoing development workflows.
Operational coverage focused on Dubai operations and consolidated data used by commercial CRM workflows, project teams and regulatory functions, reflecting the company need to unify CRM, project and regulatory data sources within one system. The vendor case study notes the rollout expanded from five initial users in 2014 to more than fifty users, indicating phased adoption across functional teams.
Governance changes included formalized stewardship for regulated documents and standardized approval and retention processes to improve process speed and traceability across multi-year customer development cycles. The KPI Document Management implementation delivered centralized traceability and a governed content lifecycle for Adchem’s pharmaceutical and ingredients projects.
