In 2021 Adelaide Oval implemented FoundU Workforce Management. FoundU Workforce Management was deployed as the primary Workforce Management application to support rostering and schedule management for Retail Hospitality and event staffing at the venue.
The implementation emphasized rostering and shift allocation capabilities, with FoundU used for publishing complex event rosters, managing long shift patterns, and coordinating section waiter and bar staff assignments during large functions. Functional capabilities in use included schedule creation, shift swapping and availability capture consistent with Workforce Management workflows for hospitality and events.
FoundU operated alongside WorkJam for frontline communications and MyVenue for point of sale activity, with the operating environment reflecting coordinated use of FoundU for roster control and WorkJam for staff notifications. Operational coverage included Retail Hospitality, Village Green bars, functions across multiple floors, and event-specific staffing for the 2021 Ashes season, the Adelaide International and AFL rounds between October 2021 and May 2023.
Governance centered on centralized roster control within the hospitality department, with day of event coordination aligning roster assignments to event manifests and POS flows. The deployment supported business functions in workforce scheduling, on-shift staffing coordination and operational readiness for large-scale events.
