The implementation leveraged category aligned capabilities of Equifax Kount, including device and browser fingerprinting, risk scoring and velocity checks, a configurable rule engine for accept review and decline flows, and automated decisioning tied to session analytics. Equifax Kount was configured to surface a manual review queue and configurable risk thresholds, enabling operationalized fraud workflows within the application console. Operational scope was limited to the company website where the Equifax Kount script and decisioning calls were integrated into checkout and guest account flows, covering online order screening and account creation events. Governance was established through centralized rule management inside the Equifax Kount portal and operational processes for the small e commerce team to tune rules and manage review queues, with the deployment focused on site level fraud prevention rather than cross enterprise system integrations.
