In 2010, Aequitas implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial solution. The deployment used Oracle NetSuite cloud-hosted architecture to centralize core financial operations for the Canada-based banking and financial services firm with approximately 50 employees. The implementation emphasized a single chart of accounts and centralized ledger to standardize financial reporting taxonomy across the finance organization.
Configuration concentrated on core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, and statutory tax reporting, with financial reporting and close orchestration configured to support period-end workflows. Governance was enforced through role-based access controls, approval workflows for payables and receivables, segregation of duties configurations, and system audit trails to align finance, treasury oversight, and statutory reporting processes within the Canadian operational scope.
