In 2015 Aerospace Applications North America implemented Pentagon 2000SQL as its core Aviation ERP,Aviation MRO application to support operational control across manufacturing and maintenance functions. The implementation was managed at the department level by an Information Services Manager responsible for mission critical application availability and recoverability within the company’s 150 employee footprint. The deployment was run on a SQL based infrastructure and operated alongside Microsoft Office and the company intranet, with daily restorability checks on backups and monthly archival of robot instructions used on production equipment. Operational monitoring included proactive server log review across SQL, intranet, Pentagon, system, and security logs to detect errors early and maintain application availability for production, maintenance, quality, and information services teams. Governance and operational processes were formalized under the Information Services Manager role, who performed repairs or reinstalls of Pentagon 2000SQL and related applications, ensured daily backup creation and restorability, and integrated ACI’s quality management system requirements into departmental processes. The same governance scope included promoting product and aviation safety along with organizational values during ongoing application operations and support.
